The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 16-year-old boy who reportedly ran away. 

James Dickerson was last seen near Highway 53 West and Holcomb Road in 

western Dawson County, according to DCSO’s Aug. 8 Facebook post. 

He was last seen wearing black jeans and a black hoodie, with a black knit hat. 

While he has no known whereabouts, the DCSO post suggested Dickerson “possibly hangs out near [the] Food Lion and skate park area” in Dawsonville.
